Describe your design aesthetic in a few words?
Eclectic, comfortable, casual, yet sophisticated.
What do you love about using antiques in your designs?
I love mixing antiques with contemporary styles. Combining old and new is very important in creating a well-lived in space that feels like a home. Antiques not only give character to a space, but also a sense of history.
What inspires you?
Travel, fashion, history, the world around me!
Jenny Wolf is a New York-based interior designer focused on all aspects of residential interiors. Her organic approach to design emphasizes the simple and often overlooked notion that a home should reflect the sensibilities of the people living in it, showcasing the things they love and have collected over time.
Growing up in the culturally eclectic city of New Orleans and on the coast of South Carolina in a family of furniture retailers, Jenny developed a love of home furnishings, antiques and all things beautiful. Upon graduating college, Jenny moved to NYC where she worked in retail development at Ralph Lauren. There she managed visual merchandising and shop installations for RL women’s shops at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and specialty stores around the country. After five years at Ralph Lauren, Jenny left to attend Parsons where she earned a degree in Interior Design, concentrating on architecture, lighting, furniture, color and interior layouts. Jenny assisted on a number of high profile residential projects before launching Jenny Wolf Interiors in early 2011.
Jenny has been published in numerous publications including Architectural Digest.com, Elle Decor.com, Coastal Living, Luxe, New York Magazine, and New York Cottages & Gardens. Jenny was recently named one of Traditional Home’s “top 10 New Traditionals” and was included in Luxe Interiors + Design’s Gold List. Jenny also received the prestigious ‘Star on the Rise’ award by the Design & Decoration Building in New York.
