We are honored to showcase a new interior designer every week. Discover their beautiful designs, creative talents, and their very own curated LUXList. Each designer carefully selects pieces from RubyLUX.com they love. These pieces speak to them and are meant to inspire.
This week LUXList Designer Edition is all about Sandra Espinet a LA and Cabo- based designer who has us in love with her use of neutrals and refined use of colors. You can tell each space is well thought out from the patterns in the tiles to the intricate details in each piece. She uses organic materials in a way that brings the outdoors in seamlessly. This elegant designer has style and we think you will agree!

SMANIA ITALIAN MODERN PROTOTYPE ARMCHAIR
Describe your design aesthetic in a few words?
I hate to even attempt to describe my design aesthetic because as soon as I fall in love with a particular style of doing or seeing things…it changes. Design and taste styles seem to change and grow and be in constant flux.
What do you love about using antiques in your designs?
I use them sparingly and in important and dramatic areas. I like my antiques to make a statement vs overwhelm a room. I feel that too many antiques makes a room feel old and overloaded. A good mix of old and new makes a room feel eclectic.
What inspires you?
Beauty always seems to work for me. Beautiful hotels, beautiful scenery, beautiful friends are sure ways to get my mind working.
Why did the Smania Italian Modern Prototype Armchair make your LUXList?
“Some pieces are so classic that they transcend periods or styles. And this chair to me has that perfect simplicity that makes it so adaptable. I could easily use it in a modern room, a hollywood regency room, or in a transitional home. Just gorgeous.”
