This charming antique brass picture frame is encrusted throughout with red and turquoise art glass. Traces of white paint remain on the surface but the incised scrolling pattern remains. The shield shape of the frame is supported in the front by a pair of crisscrossed swords as well as two legs in the back.

The glass appears to be original and the sitter in the photograph is unknown.
