Vally Wieselthier was one of the amazing artists that regulary produced designs for the Wiener Werkstätte from the year 1917. Although Wieselthier is an exception to the other ladies because she also found big international recognition outside the Wiener Werkstätte. Her works are displayed in museums all around the globe, among others also in New York, her adopted place of residence. The bowl is marked on the underside with the „WW" in a square, the number 184 and the artists signet „VW".
