Luxury Design, Past & Present
Paris was the epicenter of Art Nouveau enamel jewelery around 1900. Manufactures of jewelry from the whole world were seeking for inspiration from the French Masters like René Lalique, Eugene Feuillâtre and Cartier.
Krementz & Co produced Art Nouveau jewelry in the French style around 1900. The swan was a desirable subject because of its lovely appearance and its mythological background. The execution is of exquisite quality, the background was also worked and feathers can be seen. The object is in excellent condition despite some very minor age appropriate losses to the enamel .
