Luxury Design, Past & Present
Paris was the epicenter of Art Nouveau enamel jewelry around 1900. Manufactures of jewelry from the whole world were seeking for inspiration from the French Masters like René Lalique, Lucienne Gaillard und Fouquet.
Around 1900 fine jewelry was produced in 14 Carat gold, our Brooch / Pendant was gold gilt with a 24 Carat gold to enhance the shimmering of the precious metal. The enamel works is of extraordinary quality, the symbolistic face of a maiden which is surrounded by flowers and Lily pads is lovely and delicate. Neck and ear are adorned by old cut diamonds. The enamel is, besides three age appropriate small flakes, in a very good condition.
