Luxury Design, Past & Present
Silver with window enamel, brilliant, mother of pearl and a sweetwater pearl.
From 1904 on jewelry designer Karl Bissinger and the jewelry salesman Emil Levinger produced high quality gold and silverware under the same name. Next to Bissingers designs those of Otto Prutscher were executed too.
The gradation from green to white into a faint rosé was one of the trademarks by Levinger & Bissinger. The high quality of the enamel is beautifully displayed at this necklace. Together with the delicate design and the fine silver craftsmanship this makes a fine piece of Art Nouveau jewelry from ca.1905.
