The Phenomen Decoration variant was the most famous invention of the glass manufacturer Johann Loetz-Witwe Klostermuhle. At the turn of the century those highly iridescent glass decorations really were something new and the glassworkers skill was unique. The Phenomen Genre 7734 decoration was one of the earliest Phenomen variants with a development date of 1898. Characteristic signs of this decoration variant are a strong and opaque iridescent surface and a heavily pulled wave ornament. In addition this vase is cover with a yellow undercoating.
