Signed at the bottom, around 1900.

The enterprise Louis Comfort Tiffany was one of the most important and most famous art manufactures in America around the turn of the century. Glass vases of this workshop achieve the highest prices at the art market and range among the most asked for pieces from the time around 1900. Louis Comfort Tiffany New York produced a wide range of goods including hand mirrors, desk sets, jewelry and glass objects.

Soliflore vases with bronce- or brassfeet became very popular since Tiffany added them to their inventory around 1900. Their remarkable traits were the polished brass feet and the highly colorful iridescence on the glass.
