The decoration variant Phenomen Gre 377 was presented by Loetz at the World Exhibition in Paris in the year 1900. The glass craftsmen of the enterprise Loetz used a century old technique of rinsing the hot glass mass with cold water and melting the created cracks of the glass shut in a glass oven. The rolled in “Silberkrosel” and the later iridescence, combined with the cracked and molten surface, created a completely new decoration that’s was first used by Loetz.
