Glazed porcelain figurine by Ludwig Gies ( 1887-1966 ). Design from 1926. Executed by State Porcelain Manufacture Berlin (KPM). Moon Sheep was inspired by Christian Morgenstern's poem of the same name. Reliefed surface. Reverse side marked: Sceptre mark for KPM factory.
