The Aubusson tapestry factory was listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2009

Loewer designed his first cartoon in 1953 ; his early works are first figurative before turning to Geometric abstraction.

The beautiful design is an upending superposition of shapes that we see in this design ; The composition and the contrast of colors gives to the geometrical lines a certain poetic quality. As is often the case with Loewer, only one version of this tapestry was probably made.
