Sayed Haider Raza was born in 1922, India. He lives and works in India. He is one of the most important living Indian artist.
He arrived in Paris in 1952, and he integrated the National School of Fine Arts. His carreer then will take place between Paris and India. In his work, Raza sets up a sacred imagery, such as abstract diagrams, the Bindu. First emerges the light, then shapes, colour, but also energy. His artworks are part of most important public collections such as the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Centre for International Contemporary Arts, New-York) and private ones.
