Luxury Design, Past & Present
Spectacular 1930's Murano chandelier featuring four sloped mirrored arms terminating in inverted Pulegoso cones with alternating mirrored poles and Pulegoso discs. Invented by Napoleone Martinuzzi in the 1920s, the Pulegoso technique permits a complex and soothing translucency through air bubbles within the glass. The chandelier gracefully links Italian classicism with 1930s modernism by way of Venetian arms married to pure geometric forms. The bottom finial adds a finish touch enticing investigation.
