Luxury Design, Past & Present
With his PK 24 the Danish designer Poul Kjærholm translated the idea of a French „chais longue“ into his own elementary design language. All elements of the PK 24 are independent and the position of the seat can be continuously adjusted simply by using gravity. The PK 24 strikes with its consequent design and is included in several permanent design collections such as the collection of the „Victoria and Albert Museum“ in London or the „Vitra Design Museum“ in Germany.
