Luxury Design, Past & Present
This beautiful three-piece silver Art Deco teaset, called 'Nicole', is designed by Philippe Wolfers in 1926, manufactured and marked by Wolffers Frères, Brussel. This particular set is executed between 1933 and 1939.
One of the main characteristics of this Art Deco design is the combination of silver with precieus elements, in this case tropical wood on the handles and knobs.
Measurements: milkjar 15 x 8 x 7 cm, sugar bowl 18 x 9 x 7 cm, teapot 21 x 12 x 12 cm. This set is in good condition, the wooden knob of the teapot is cracked (see picture).
