Louis Justin Laurent Icart is a French painter, drawer, printmaker of the Roaring Twenties.
Among his whole production, the portraits of 'Parisiennes' enjoyed real success after his participation during the 'Salon des humoristes', In 1922, the Belmaison Gallery in New York initiated his recognition in the United States which earned him the nickname of 'The Parisian dreamer'.

After his death and a long period of oversight during the Post-War, he regained very high recognition. His original works are quite rare as the market offers mostly lithographies.
