Luxury Design, Past & Present
A pair of mahogany open arm chairs with upholstered seat and back, carved arms having pads on the elbow and cabriole legs, terminating in scroll feet. English, Circa 1750
These chairs are in the manner of William Gomm and have unusual cabriole legs, no doubt to accommodate the curved front rail. We have recently changed the upholstery to the lighter color.
