Luxury Design, Past & Present
Intricately woven in sterling silver this bracelet was designed c. 1940-50's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Weighing 94 grams the piece measures 7" long with a wearable length of 6 3/4" due to the thickness of the links. The unusual slide clasp includes a safety catch. The 4 jump rings on the design are meant for dangling charms, stones or pendants. The Silver By Tono hallmarks are shown on p.80 of SILVER SEDUCTION: THE ART OF MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA by Gobi Stromberg.
