Rare machine age 970 sterling silver bracelet designed & signed circa 1950's Taxco, Mexico modernist designer Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). 117 grams, 4.1 oz. Excellent condition. Slide in clasp is tight and secure as is safety chain. Fully hallmarked on clasp. This design was featured in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE and pictured in the book of the same name by Penny Morrill. Antonio designs included in the permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection of LACMA.
