Seldom seen on the market this important collectors' piece was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Measuring 1 1/4" high with an interior wearable length of 6 3/4" the bracelet weighs 126 grams. The 4 large, exquisite amethyst cabs are in beautiful condition as is the silver. Both clasp & safety chain are tight & secure. The early Antonio hallmarks (pre-crown) are pictured in Hogart's Mexican marks book on p.139. This design was featured in the L.A. Fowler Museum exhibit Silver Seduction: The Art Of Silver Modernist Antonio Pineda & in the museum catalog on p.104.
