Deeply hand carved sterling silver Aztec cuff designed & signed c. 1930's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Made for a smaller wrist it measures 6 1/2" including the 1 inch gap opening at the back. The cuff weighs a hefty 107 grams. Beautiful condition with no issues, This design was included in a Spratling silver exhibit at the 1937 Brooklyn Museum of Art exhibit. Spratling designs are included in many permanent museum collections including MFA Boston & LACMA. An important & rare collectable.
