William Conlon is a New York artist known for large-scale paintings and prints to prominence in the 1980s. He is Professor of Visual Arts and the Director of Visual Arts Department at Fordham University College at Lincoln Center. He has also taught at Hunter College, the University of California Irvine, Brooklyn College and Sarah Lawrence College. He is an active lecturer.
His work rose in prominence beginning in the early 1970s and his work is represented in numerous museum collections, including
