Thsi secretary in the style of Koloman Moser and Wiener Werkstätte was designed and made in the 20th century in Vienna.
The piece was made of spruce and veneered with various woods like rosewood, oak, lemon, beech, maple and ebony, mothers of pearl.
Further details are brass and 16 blue green medaillons framed with silver. The hinges were made of brass.
Also the secretary shows 4 drawers and storage compartments on each side.
The corpus stands on 4 high legs.
Now we come to the details of the fantastic surface.
You are able to open the secretary with a key and then you open two doors, which show an inlay with the motif Diana and 16 iridiscent blue and green colored medaillons with silver frame. the similar motif Diana by Carl Otto Czeschka is mentioned and exhibited in the Museum of Applied Art in Vienna.
