Set of 20 Jugendstil Fish Cutlery Set by Orivit Cologne, Designed in 1907 - image 1 of 9

The striking fish cutlery set was produced in 1907 by the German silver manufacturer 'Orivit-Metallwarenfabrik'. Unfortunately the designer of this beautiful set remains unknown.

The shafts of the knives and forks depict a decoratively sculptured fish head.
Manufactured in silver plated alpacca.

the set consists of:

9 knives (length 21cm)
9 forks (length 18.6 cm)
1 knife measures 29.5 cm
1 fork bears scratched letters, most likely 'HOAG', prod.no: 5264

Every pieces bears the hallmark of Orivit (An intersecting O AG) and a production numbers around 5770 and is made of silver plated alpacca.

Overall in good condition, the set can be polished on request.
The serving knife has a spalling on the end of the shaft as shown on the images.
