The electroplated tea infusers designed by the trained silver smith Christian Dell in ca. 1924 were produced at the metal workshop of the Bauhaus Weimar.

Dell teached studied himself at the 'Großherzoglich Sächsischen Kunstgewerbeschule Weimar' in the class of Henry van de Velde and was head of the metal workshops production from 1922-1925.

The infuser is represented in the design collection of the MoMA, object number: 18.1997
