Luxury Design, Past & Present
An absolutely stunning diamond and opal ring from the early Art Deco (ca1915) era! Made of platinum, this wonderful piece has a vibrant opal set at the center of its diamond encrusted mounting. The opal is closed back and bezel set in yellow gold and displays a wonderful range of vibrant iridescent colors that seem to glow in the light. Included in the color play are shades of bright green, blue, sunset orange, violet, and yellow. The delicate yet bold mounting is beautifully ornate with a scale-like wirework design accented by 60 Single Cut sparkling diamonds. These diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.30ctw. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning everyday piece or a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 3/8" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the opal and all of the diamonds within the mounting are intact.
