Luxury Design, Past & Present
A simply breathtaking diamond heart locket from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This exquisite piece is quite substantial in size and is crafted in platinum. The entire front surface of the heart is encrusted with sparkling pavé set diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of 10 ctw. The dazzling diamond surface sparkles magnificently in the light when worn! It hangs from a complimentary platinum bail, also lined with diamond accents. The reverse side of the heart has a simple and smooth platinum surface. When opened, the locket reveals space to store a special photograph inside behind a removable heart-shaped glass frame. An outstanding and feminine piece, it looks truly gorgeous when worn and could make a romantic gift for someone special!
Measurements: The locket hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the bail at the top). The heart itself measures 1 3/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide, and 1/2" thick. The total pennyweight of the piece is 14.6 dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact. The hinge and bail are secure and in good working condition, and the glass frame is intact.
