A beautifully painted English genre scene, depicting a ruckus at a butcher shop: three boys minding the shop, and even a neighbor, are all reacting animatedly as a dog tears away from the scene. Second half of the 19th century, apparently unsigned, relined, in original elaborate gilded frame.
