A smartly matted set of five 18th century sea shell engravings drawn and engraved by Andreas Hoffer and Paul Kuffner for Les Délices Des Yeux et de L’Esprit or Collection Générale des Différentes Espèces de Coquillages Que La Mer Renfermé, by German naturalist and artist George Wolfgang Knorr (1705-1761). Nice condition with minimal toning except for one with moderate toning, two collection marks on all sheets, each sheet smartly double matted in deep cream on orange with a black cutaway and framed in contemporary silver frames. Some scratching to all frames, not obtrusive.
