A magnificent pair of  four light candelabra, of tripodal form resting on moulded plinths. Lotus, palm  and acanthus mingle with classical architectural elements to create the base and scrolling candle arms. The finely veined and sought after Italian marble contrasts dramatically with the dark bronze forms. Carved with an « R » on the underside of each of the marble plinths. Ca. 1825-1835.
