A handsome bright red painted and fancy gilt decorated oval tray with a central scene of horsemen out with their hounds. The gilt foliage surround is especially refined and lovely. Ca. 1830. Nicely restored in places, without interfering with the original paint, slightly crusty and patinated over all, but clean, stable, and appears recently varnished.
