A handsomely inlaid tulipwood cabinet with the front panels elegantly bookmatched and quartered. The corners are canted, terminating in corresponding square tapered legs with brass sabots and gilt bronze mounts and fittings elsewhere. The original top is a fossil marble contoured to match the case. One shelf inside. Early 19th century. Good antique condition with a few small areas of restoration. Working lock and key.
