Luxury Design, Past & Present
A large ca. 1740 parcel gilt walnut and faux grain painted mirror, probably Danish, with a shaped crest carved to hint at an architectural pediment and volutes, and ornamented with an urn, sprigs of foliage and rocaille. A gilded filet surrounds the original two part beveled mercury glass mirror plates. Also retains its original gilding and a wrought iron hanging bar on the back.
