A striking tall two part gilded pier mirror, the two plates demarcated by a coordinating gilded molding. The lower mirror plate is original and has interesting and attractive patterns of de-silvering; the top plate is a later mirror plate. Retains bright original gilding throughout. Heavy patina and surface wear in places, some restorations- good antique condition over all with signs of age and use. Mid-19th century.
