Chic and versatile, a crisply carved Neoclassical mirror with water leaf carving inside a flat raised moulding, the surface retaining its original gilding. The gilding is a light gold with speckled patination and polished gesso showing on the carved pearl edge inner moulding. Very good antique condition with small areas of typical loss and color retouch to the carved edges. Also retaining the fine original two part mercury glass mirror plate and wood paneled back. Early 19th century.
