Luxury Design, Past & Present
A fine nine piece antique English dessert set with unique floral compositions on each, all masterfully hand painted and with lovely shaped and moulded rims enhanced by beaded edges and dimensional rosettes. Good condition overall, with some wear to the gilding, a few very slight scattered rubs to the green, one plate with a stable hairline at the rim. The scalloped serving dish has the most gilt loss. Probably made in Staffordshire or Yorkshire. Hand painted pattern number “2400,” otherwise, no marks.
