Luxury Design, Past & Present
A diminutive George II English country lowboy, ca. 1750, resting on squared pad-footed cabriole legs in the early 18th century manner. Three drawers with pinned construction fill the attractively shaped front. The sides also are shaped in a graceful and somewhat severe ogival form, terminating in a pointed arch. Hardware is later, but of authentic form. Returns along the backboard are also later.
