Luxury Design, Past & Present
A very elegant English Georgian period lowboy with a complex and gracefully shaped apron in the front and ogival arched shaped side panels. The top is composed of highly figured book matched walnut panels with a cross banded border; the same mahogany cross banding recurs across the three drawer fronts. Cabriole legs terminate in four faceted lappet carved pad feet. Original hardware. Ca. 1730-1740. Very good antique condition with small areas of restoration, typical wear and imperfections typical of age and use.
