Luxury Design, Past & Present
This credenza or sideboard is a true work of art. Ivory colored opaline glass with beautiful bronze inlays, flat front legs and working brass keys. These pieces were bought at an auction in Florence and made in the 1970s by a company in Padova, Italy (near Venice) that closed and stopped fabricating in the 1980s. These and other pieces were in storage since and never used. The opaline glass was hand made in Venice. Velvet covered shelves inside for storage.
This piece is on display on the 10th Floor at the New York Design Center at 200 Lexington Avenue, NY.
