George III period satinwood and painted commode, to a design of Robert Adam. Of demilune outline, with painted ornament of classical scenes, urns, with painted anthemia to the frieze, and a lozenge of painted putti to the top. The legs with gilt carved bukrania to the tops, with trailing bellflowers, terminating in toupie feet below.
Circa 1780, but possibly with late 19th century enhancements
