Offered is a wonderful 'Grotesque' bowl in the Gold Ruby to Clear color. Made by Carder Steuben Glass sometime between 1903 and 1933.

Grotesque is a rather strange name for this art glass, especially since it's anything but. However, it surely makes this particular free-form glass more unforgettable.

This outstanding example measures 9-1/2"W at the widest and about 5-3/8"H. It is crack and chip free. There are natural inclusions as manufactured and the typical wear/age related scratches on the bottom.

Bears the Steuben acid etched mark as shown.
