A large Showa period cloisonné presentation vase in the style of Hayashi, of ovoid form decorated in coloured enamels and silver wire with two pheasants beneath a flowering prunus tree against a blue sky, within shippo pattern borders, with a wooden stand and fitted silk-lined box. Japanese, c1930.
