Rare Art Deco luncheon set in brilliant silver and jade green by Jean Luce, the important French ceramicist. There are 12 sets that are beautifully designed to nest. The set has a crème color ceramic base with a metallic silver finish and jade green on the cups and saucers. There are only 11 of the small plates 7.25" by 6" and 12 each cups and saucers. The cups are 5.25" across the handle.
Jean Luce first showed his work in 1921 at the Musée Galliéra, Paris. He was later in the Salons d'Automne and Salons of the SAD (Société des Artistes Décorateurs).
