Luxury Design, Past & Present
A Victorian ruby and diamond triple cluster ring, the three rubies weighing 0.63 carats in total, surrounded by interlocking clusters set with twenty-four old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.75 carats, all claw-set to an 18ct yellow gold mount, with split carved shoulders, circa 1890, measuring 1.8 x 0.8cm, finger size M ½, gross weight 3.9 grams.
This lovely Victorian ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. This ring features three ruby and diamond clusters, set between ornate, classically late Victorian split shoulders. The yellow gold setting and shank pair perfectly with the vivid red rubies, making this a wonderful and romantic piece.
This antique ring is in very good condition for its age. Marked and tested as 18ct gold.
