A three stone ruby and diamond carved half hoop ring, the central emerald-cut ruby weighing 0.85cts, accompanied by GCS Report stating to be of Burmese origin, set between two old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.10cts, all claw set to a yellow gold carved scroll gallery mount, with scroll detail to the shoulders, hallmarked 18 carat gold, London 2003, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsor mark, the head measuring approximately 0.6 x 1.5cm, finger size N, gross weight 4.5 grams.
A beautiful three stone ring. This piece has a central ruby with a deep bright crimson colour which is surrounded by two scintillating diamonds. The setting is Victorian inspired, with an ornate scroll mount that complements the stones. This piece comes from Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would make a perfect antique-inspired engagement ring.
This ring is in very good condition.
