Luxury Design, Past & Present
An early 20th century coral and diamond cross, the eleven cabochon-cut round shaped corals, flanked with rose-cut diamonds set in-between, mounted in yellow gold, suspended by a rose-cut diamond encrusted pendant loop, the diamonds set on silver to a yellow gold back, bearing the French eagle-head hallmark for gold, circa 1900, the cross measuring approximately 9.5 x 5.8cm, gross weight 31.9 grams.
This antique cross is in very good condition for its age. Marked and tested as 18ct gold, with silver and 9ct gold pendant loop.
A beautiful antique coral cross pendant. This pendant features eleven round cabochon-cut coral beads. Between each of the coral stones is a row of glinting rose-cut diamonds. The coral is a wonderful and rich orange colour and is complemented well by the rose-cut diamonds. This pendant comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would look lovely suspended from a thick gold chain from the period.
